Like most chiropractors, I was inspired to pursue a career in the field because of a personal experience with chiropractic that helped me enjoy a better quality of life. As a child I suffered from severe allergies and asthma. Conventional medical care offered little relief for me and only one option: potent and toxic medications that I’d have to take indefinitely. Luckily, my parents and I found our way to chiropractic care.
Chiropractic’s whole-body approach to wellness was just what my body needed to get on the road to health. With regular chiropractic care I had no need for medications and was able to fulfill my potential as a young athlete. How can this happen? How does Chiropractic Care help allergies, asthma, or other health concerns? Answering this question is part of the reason we’ve developed this site: to give people options and educate them about the alternatives they have in optimal health care.

In 1986, Dr. Serra got a call from NFL Football player Roger Craig. An associate of Dr. Serra's who regularly cared for Roger, referred him to Dr. Serra, knowing he'd get the kind of care he'd need while playing the Giants in NJ. Roger was so pleased with his care he has referred many professional athletes to our office over the past 17 years and the list of athletes we have the pleasure of treating has grown. Dr Serra is the consulting and treating Chiropractic physician for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Francisco Giants each season when they play in New York and Philadelphia, as well as many NFL teams including the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Miami Dolphins.
